The S Series has a powerful 8.4 l AGCO Power engine that generates huge torque at low revs. Valtra's famous ECO Power concept has been applied to the entire S Series range, saving you 7 to 15 % fuel. The long-stroke engine reaches peak torque of 1750 Nm. With the S Series you get off to a smooth and powerful start and torque remains consistent throughout the entire rev range, thanks to the powerful long-stroke engine.

• Boost functions for hydraulic/PTO work and for transport

The S Series employs an intelligent boost system to ensure you always have the power you need when you need it. For combined work with intensive use of  PTO and/or hydraulics, the boost function is activated when 30 kW of power is requested via PTO or hydraulics. When you need the highest performance on the road the boost is always there when ground speed exceeds 18 km/h. For the highest horsepower S416, full power is available for field speeds and as well as for PTO use when the tractor is at a standstill.

Responsive and reliable power whenever you need it. The S Series' AGCO ML 260 CVT transmission is designed for heavy work and has been redesigned with a reinforced input shaft and damper. Get more done with lower revs and save fuel thanks to the large diameter bar axles and the newly designed PTO.

The S Series is always ready to go. When asked, it responds quickly. With droop control, the operator can change the behaviour of the tractor for even more economic or intensive operating to save either fuel or time, depending on your cost-saving preferences.

Keep your transmission clean and save on servicing. The S Series has separate transmission and hydraulic oils, so you never need to worry about dirt finding its way into your transmission. This means low service costs due to the long oil change intervals.

Save time when connecting and disconnecting your hydraulics thanks to the simple lever couplers, even when the system is pressurised. All hydraulic valves on the S Series have an innovative self-closing flap design that effectively prevents dirt from entering the valve.

Valtra Unlimited offers the farm valve with hydraulic side limiters for safe and easy adjustment of implements from inside the cabin. The farm valve enables hydraulic sideways adjustment of the lower links and hydraulic side movement of the implement. The farm valve can be controlled via wireless control unit or via ISOBUS UT.
